Having experienced the frustration at having tried to find information using search engines, only to end up on a site with little or no relevance to what we were looking for, We have started to compile a list of links and contact information for various disability related organisations.
They are organised by National, Regional and International.

National

Disability Awareness in action
An international human rights network, run for and by disabled people. Offers news, issues and disability links.

Access-Ability
Access-Ability is dedicated to providing a service to those with disabilities, and as such are strong believers in living life to the full regardless of any obstacles.

DIAL
A national organisation for a network of approximately 130 local disability information and advice services run by and for disabled people. Last year DIALs helped over a quarter of a million disabled people.

Disabled Drivers Federation
The Federation consists of 12 independent clubs, situated all over the country. They attempt to influence local councils to provide better resources for the disabled, especially in connection with motoring.

Disabled Go
A resource that tells you of places that disabled persons can use.
